Our Sourdough Cookies are thoughtfully made from sourdough discard—an often overlooked byproduct from naturally leavened baking that we use to add moisture, flavor, and complexity to every bite. This tangy, nutrient-rich ingredient allows us to cut back on refined sugar while delivering the chewy, gooey texture cookie lovers crave.

At Rise Artisanal, turning discard into dessert is more than a technique—it’s a reflection of our zero-waste, pro-health, and pro-planet philosophy. Less sugar, less waste, more joy.

Each cookie is 70g of indulgence, baked medium rare: slightly crisp on the edges, gloriously soft at the center.

For the baked box of six (6), you may choose up to two (2) of the following small-batch flavors: Brown Butter Chocolate Chip, Dark Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, and Rocky Road.

Care information

This loaf keeps well at room temperature for 3 days (focaccia) and up to 5 days (boule) especially when stored in a linen cloth or bread bag. We do not recommend refrigeration as it goes stale there quickly. Instead, you may want to freeze the loaf to preserve it for up to 3 months. You may slice before freezing. When you are ready to enjoy it, just let the bread sit on the counter for about 30 minutes before toasting on high for 5-10 minutes.
