Sourdough Bread Delivery in Quezon City & Metro Manila
Rise Artisanal is a small-batch sourdough microbakery in Quezon City. We bake naturally leavened bread — no commercial yeast, no preservatives, no shortcuts — and deliver it across Metro Manila every Friday, the same day it comes out of the oven.
How ordering works
- 1Order by Wednesday. Wednesday is our weekly cutoff. It tells us how much dough to mix on Thursday, which is why we can bake in small batches instead of guessing and throwing bread away.
- 2We bake Friday morning. Every loaf takes two full days from starter to oven. Friday is bake day, so what reaches you was baked hours earlier, not days.
- 3We deliver Friday. One bake day, one delivery run. Fewer motorcycle trips across the metro, lower emissions, fresher bread.
Missed the Wednesday cutoff too often? Our sourdough subscription holds you a spot in the weekly batch automatically.
Where we deliver, and what it costs
We deliver to all 17 cities and municipalities of Metro Manila, plus two areas close enough to reach on the same Friday run.
| Area | Delivery fee |
|---|---|
| Quezon City, Manila, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Marikina, Pasig, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati, Taguig, Pateros, Pasay | ₱150 |
| Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa | ₱200 |
| Antipolo (Rizal), Meycauayan (Bulacan) | ₱200 |
| Orders of ₱4,000 and up — anywhere above | Free |
Antipolo and Meycauayan sit just outside Metro Manila but are close enough to our Quezon City kitchen that we can include them in the Friday run. If you are near the edge of any of these areas and unsure, message us and we will tell you straight.
What we bake
Everything is naturally leavened with our own starter, Marcus, which we built from scratch and still feed weekly. All our loaves are vegan.
- Boules and batárds — the classic loaf, plus seeded, dark rye, cranberry walnut, jalapeño cheddar, and our ube queso. Start here if it is your first order.
- Sourdough focaccia — garlic and herb, classic, garden medley, sesame scallion, cinnamon roll.
- Sweets — sourdough cookies, brownies, banana bread, and apple pie on a sourdough crust.
- Snacks and dips — sourdough crisps and house-made vegan pesto.
- Gift bundles — gift-wrapped with a handwritten card, for sending to someone else.
Why it is worth the wait
Each loaf takes at least two days, three if you count caring for the starter. Long fermentation is what develops the flavour and the chew, and it is also what makes sourdough easier to digest than bread pushed through with commercial yeast. It keeps longer too — three days on the counter, then slice and freeze the rest.
Our sourdough FAQs go deeper on storage, freezing, fermentation, and what naturally leavened actually means.
Want to bake it yourself?
We run Sourdough 101, a one-day hands-on workshop in Quezon City for complete beginners. Four students maximum, all tools and ingredients included, and you leave with your own starter.
Questions about delivery
Where in Quezon City are you based?
We bake out of our home kitchen in Quezon City. We are not a walk-in storefront — every order is baked to order and delivered, which is how we keep batches small enough that the same pair of hands handles every loaf.
When do I need to order by?
Wednesday. That is the cutoff for the Friday bake. Orders placed after Wednesday roll into the following week’s batch.
Do you deliver outside Metro Manila?
We reach Antipolo in Rizal and Meycauayan in Bulacan, both at ₱200, because they are close enough to fit the Friday run. Beyond that we cannot guarantee the bread arrives in the condition we would want, so we do not ship further.
How do I get free delivery?
Orders of ₱4,000 and up deliver free to any area we serve. Bulk orders also mean fewer separate trips, which is the other reason we encourage them.
Can I get bread on a day other than Friday?
Friday is our only bake day, so Friday is our only delivery day. Our bread is freezer-friendly by design — slice what you will not finish in three days and freeze it, then toast straight from frozen.
